Trial Terms

These Trial Terms explain the rules for ReliaFarm trial hardware, trial access, deposits, returns, refunds, and related operational support.
These Trial Terms supplement ReliaFarm's Terms of Service.
1. Trial Overview
ReliaFarm may allow eligible commercial agricultural customers to try hardware and monitoring services in their own operation before committing to a full purchase.
Unless a written offer or order states otherwise, the trial period is typically up to 60 days from delivery.
Monitoring subscription charges generally do not begin until you decide to keep the trial kit or move into a paid service arrangement.
2. Deposit and Payment
A deposit may be required to reserve or receive a trial kit.
- The deposit acts as a commitment payment for the trial.
- If you keep the kit, the deposit may be applied toward the hardware purchase as described in your order or invoice.
- If you return the kit on time and in acceptable condition, the deposit may be refunded.
Any remaining hardware balance, taxes, or approved charges remain your responsibility if you keep the kit.
3. Trial Period
The trial period begins on the date the kit is delivered.
During the trial period, you may use the trial hardware and related monitoring access provided by ReliaFarm for evaluation purposes.
Before the end of the trial period, you must choose one of the following:
- keep the kit and move into a purchase or paid subscription arrangement
- return the kit under these Trial Terms
4. Return Conditions
To qualify for a full deposit refund, you must:
- return all hardware, gateways, sensors, accessories, and included components
- return the kit within the required return window
- return the kit in acceptable condition, subject to inspection
You are solely responsible for all return shipping costs and logistics. ReliaFarm does not provide prepaid return labels unless ReliaFarm expressly agrees otherwise in writing for a specific promotion.
Hardware that is missing, materially damaged, negligently handled, intentionally damaged, modified without authorization, or not returned in acceptable condition may result in a reduced refund or no refund.
5. Refund Processing
If you qualify for a refund, ReliaFarm will process the refund after the returned hardware is received and inspected.
- Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method.
- Payment processor and bank timing may affect when funds appear.
- If components are missing or condition issues exist, the refund may be adjusted accordingly.
6. If You Do Not Return the Kit
If you do not return the kit within the required return window:
- the deposit may be forfeited or applied toward a hardware purchase
- you may be invoiced or charged for the remaining hardware balance, to the extent permitted by your order, authorization, or applicable law
- ReliaFarm may treat the trial as converted into a purchase arrangement
7. Support During the Trial
ReliaFarm may provide remote onboarding, support, and troubleshooting during the trial. On-site support, if offered, is subject to scheduling, geography, staff availability, and any campaign-specific terms.
8. Promotions and Founding Offers
Promotional pricing, founding-customer offers, installation help, and similar benefits are limited to the specific campaign in which they are offered. Availability may be limited and may end without notice for future customers.
9. No Guaranteed Results
ReliaFarm does not guarantee that the trial will produce cost savings, labor savings, yield improvement, irrigation improvement, or any other specific result.
Sensor data, weather information, alerts, and related outputs are informational only. You remain responsible for your own agricultural and operational decisions.
10. Communications During the Trial
By participating in the trial, you agree that ReliaFarm may contact you by email, call, or text for trial coordination, delivery, setup, support, billing, returns, and related operational matters.
